Specialist Disability Accommodation

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is a term used to describe housing for persons who have severe functional impairments or significant support needs. Clients with high and complicated needs receive the services they need in this form of lodging. Finding mainstream accommodation that fully satisfies all of their complicated support needs can be challenging for those with a high degree of impairment. They may be less able to care for themselves, move around their house, and carry out daily duties independently as a result of this lack of adequate accommodation. Additionally, it could be challenging for them to participate in activities they like and venture out into the community.
